July 2010: HALLMARK Quality Scheme

The Dorset Village and Community Halls Advisory Service is now pleased to be able to offer Hallmark accreditation for village and community halls throughout Dorset.

The scheme provides hall hirers with assurance that the facility they are using is well run in accordance with best practice and it also provides hall management committees with reassurance that they are following established best practice; this could be invaluable in recruiting new trustees to the management committee.

Full details on how to apply for Hallmark accreditation are available to affiliated halls from within the members section of this website. Hallmark is only open to affiliated halls.
